Want silky, shiny, healthy hair? Of course you do! We all do! This hair mask has some magic ingredients to help your hair be healthy and shiny. Add this regularly into your beauty routine and reap the benefits! Check out why each of these ingredients is awesome for hair...
Avocado is the shining star of this hair mask because it has so many benefits for hair health. It is full of vitamins A, D, E and B6. Avocado also has amino acids, magnesium, folate, copper, iron, monounsaturated fatty acids, phytosterols and other antioxidants. These all support healthy, shiny hair. Now these are all important to have in your diet because your hair health also depends on your internal health, BUT the nutrients in avocado can penetrate the cuticle and are absorbed into our hair shafts and scalp.
Avocados are very moisturizing for your hair, contributing to silky, shiny hair. Avocado also help repair damaged hair, whether the damage is from environmental causes, products, or heat tools.
Honey has of nutrients and is moisturizing for the hair. Honey is full of vitamins C, B2 (riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), B5 (Pantothenic Acid), and minerals copper, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, potassium and zinc. These vitamins and minerals help repair hair and stop breakage from occuring.
Honey is very moisturizing for the hair and helps strength the follicles. Honey also has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. This helps prevents scalp infections, dandruff, eczema, and psoriasis. Honey is also cleansing and helps detox the hair from buildup of products and environmental pollution.
3. Olive Oil
Olive oil has Vitamins A, E and K and a lot of beneficial fatty acids, saturated and monounsaturated fat. It is mostly made up of monounsaturated fatty acids. These vitamins and fatty acids are very moisturizing and strengthening for hair.
Most of the time you hear about people using lemon to lighten their hair and yes this can be done, but the purpose of lemon in this hair mask is not for that. You don't need to worry if you have dark hair, this mask won't lighten your hair. The lemon is used to help with gentle exfoliation. It will help loosen any dry skin or dandruff you may have. The rest of the ingredients will moisturize while it will exfoliate.
